Lavender's Story

I'm a loveable 4 yr old spayed female who was surrendered from another rescue. I remember my paws were really sore for a long time and I needed medications and monitoring to get better. But, maybe I became too much to care for and it was decided that I would come to Kaleidscope for help. Luckily I'm super brave and I love humans so I had no problems fitting right in! I heard that I have a condition called Feline Pododermatitis. I just know it as "Pillowfoot" since it used to make my paws look like pillows! After several months of rehab, I'm all healed up and ready to start my new life! There's always a chance that the pillows could come back, but now I know what meds to take just in case. The humans here adore me and well, what's not to love? I'm sweet, gentle, talkative and playful too! I tend to greet other kitties with a hiss. But, I usually follow that up with a kiss. I like toys and scratch pads but my favorite thing is human attention! More importantly, I like to be picked up and sit as high as I can on shoulders. I even make the purrfect scarf to keep your neck warm! I haven't been dog tested yet but kids would be fine if they don't mind my affections.
