Lavender's Story
Meet Lavender!

Lavender is the kind of cat who keeps life interesting! He’s a spirited, playful boy with a mischievous streak that’s sure to keep you laughing. His favorite pastime? Chasing the laser pointer — and he could happily go for hours if you let him!

Lavender is very much an “on his terms” kind of guy. He’s not a big fan of being held, but he does enjoy pets and affection once he feels comfortable. When he decides you’ve earned his trust, he’ll become your best buddy and loyal companion — he just appreciates the freedom to come to you when he’s ready.

Lavender would thrive in a home with another friendly cat to share his adventures with. He’d love to be adopted with one of his sibling— Earl— but would also do well joining a home with an existing feline friend.

If you’re looking for a fun-loving, independent kitty who brings energy, personality, and plenty of play to your life, Lavender might be your perfect match.

Lavender is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.

Adoption fees are as follows: $175 for a single cat or kitten, $225 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
