Hi, I'm Laurel. I'm an adorable black and white girl born September 12, 2024. I'm small and kitten-like with short corgi-like legs and oh-so-soft fur. My golden eyes give the illusion of dignity... but I'm a total goofball!<br/><br/>I raised 4 kittens as a single mom, so I have relied on my success being overly cautious about all things, including new environments and new people. Thankfully, Like, Elsa said in Frozen, “you can’t marry a man you just met” I don’t show my true colors to strangers. We can’t be committed after one dance, but spending a whole day together would probably do it! It doesn't take long for me to figure things out because I'm very smart. I'm also full of endless energy, and I love to follow my humans from room to room, ambushing them by jumping out of the shadows like I'm on safari! And I'm a big talker - I have a lot to say!<br/><br/>I have been adjusting to the lush life of indoor living, and it's pretty awesome! I love exploring, chasing toys, wrestling (I'm so gentle!), playing in the sink (see my photo), watching TV, and getting combed. In addition to a perfect litter box record, I have learned chairs and soft blankets are great places to hang out - as well as human laps - although I'm selective with those. If you sit on the floor, good luck keeping me away, as that is my favorite cuddle time! I have grown to enjoy being held like a baby - sometimes I just need that worship and attention! <br/><br/>If you ever wanted to be roomates with a small, furry, mad scientist who speaks to you in a strange language and makes you laugh on a daily basis, then I am probably your match! We will have so much fun together as I continue to build my confidence as a safe and secure indoor kitty!
