Laura & Natalie's Story

Laura & Natalie: Double the Love, Double the Purrs

Some friendships are simply meant to last foreverand Laura and Natalie are proof of that.

These bonded best friends have come so far since they first arrived. While they were once a little unsure of the world around them, they've blossomed into sweet, friendly girls who genuinely enjoy being around people. They love head scratches, happily accept affection, and will reward you with loud, content purrs that make all the patience it took to earn their trust worthwhile.

They're also huge fans of other cats and would fit beautifully into a home with feline companions. Whether they're curled up together for a nap, chasing toys, or quietly observing the world from a cozy window perch, Laura and Natalie do everything as a team. Their bond is incredibly special, and watching them care for one another is enough to melt anyone's heart.

While they're no longer the shy girls they once were, they're still gentle souls who appreciate a calm home where they can continue to flourish. Older kids who understand cat boundaries would be best.

Give them a little love, a few chin scratches, and a comfy place to nap, and they'll happily become your loyal companions.

Adopting Laura and Natalie means welcoming twice the purrs, twice the cuddles, and twice the love into your home.

These two have waited patiently for their happily ever after, and now they're ready to find the family they'll spend the rest of their lives with together.

Laura & Natalie are currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting them, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.

Adoption fees are as follows: $175 for a single cat or kitten, $225 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

Animal House of South East Michigan, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment. Our adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten $195 for a pair of cats or kittens Please note that we do not do same day adoptions and all adoption fees are non-refundable. AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We are also flexible if more time is needed to determine if its the right fit. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
