Growing up in a shelter means he hasn't had the chance to experience the comfort and security of a home of his own, so he can be a little shy when meeting new people. But with patience, kindness, and a little time, Lars shows his gentle, loving personality.<br/><br/>He's a quiet, sweet boy who enjoys life at his own pace. Once he feels safe, he'll reward your patience with soft purrs, gentle companionship, and the kind of trust that only comes from earning the heart of a cat who's never known a family.<br/><br/>Lars would thrive in a calm home with someone who understands that the best relationships aren't always instant-they're built over time. Watching him gain confidence and settle into a life filled with love would be a truly special experience.<br/><br/>All of our animals are spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any medical concerns identified during their veterinary exams.<br/><br/>Lars' adoption fee has been waived in hopes of helping him finally find the forever home he's been waiting for. An application does not obligate you to adopt. If your application is a good fit for Lars-or another pet in our care-a volunteer will be in touch as soon as possible.<br/><br/>Noah's Arc is a volunteer-run rescue, and our shelter is not open to the public. Meet-and-greets are by appointment only.<br/><br/>After spending his entire life in a shelter, Lars deserves to know what it's like to curl up on a couch, watch the world from a sunny window, and finally have a family to call his own.
