Lapis's Story
Lapis was trapped in Central Surrey when he was approx 7 weeks old, along with his 5 siblings and his mother in early July 2026.

He was very fearful of humans, as he was born on the streets and raised by a feral mom. This makes him very independent. He likes to find a soft, dark place to hide, but if you have the right toy or snack, he'll come out of his shell. He can be easily startled, but given enough time, he'll be just as energetic and playful as any kitten you've met!

His ideal home would be that with quiet adults only. No children, no dogs. But he might enjoy having a cat friend. His humans will need to be patient and allow him to decompress on his time.

He is a beautiful deserving kitten, and will flourish in the right home.

If you are interested in adopting Lapis, please copy and paste the following adoption application into your web browser and submit it

www.lowermainlandhumanesociety.org/adoption-application/

His adoption fee is $495, this includes all his vaccines, deworming, flea treatment, neuter and microchip. His neuter is booked for October 5th at one of our partnering veterinarians in Langley.
