Lapis's Story

Lapis is about a year old and was the second shyest out of his gang but you wouldn’t believe it seeing him now.

Lapis is one of the most confident, affectionate, playful and helpful cats. When you are interacting with him, he will ensure you laugh and giggle during your visit.

He really tries to helps when I clean the foster room. First off, once the litter boxes have been cleaned he picks one and uses it and I am now positive it is to make sure it is up to his standard for the other fosters. When I am sweeping at first I thought he was attacking the broom but now it must be because I missed a spot. Lapis is very thoughtful, when I have swept up a pile and I am sure if it is not neatly done Lapis will go in and start moving it around so I can have more practice.

He certainly loves to play, he is one of the most easy going cats and have had zero issues with growling/fighting with the other fosters. It is quite the opposite, very friendly and inviting and plays with others very well but if he has to he certainly can amuse himself. He doesn’t appear to be frightened of our two labs when they come to the baby gate to see what is going on.

Lapis loves his head, ears and belly scratches and certainly does not mind being picked up and cradled like a baby. He gives gentle love bites and provides kisses afterwards.

1 year old; neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, microchipped

$250
