Hi, I'm Lantern! A few months ago, my life looked very different. I came from a difficult situation and arrived at the shelter with my newborn baby by my side. We were lucky enough to go to a foster home together, where I finally got the chance to relax, feel safe, and learn what it means to be loved.<br/><br/>My daughter and I both blossomed in foster care. After we were spayed, she found her forever family right away. I was so happy for her... but now it's my turn. I'm affectionate, playful, and always ready for attention from my favorite people. The staff says I've completely transformed into a different cat than the one who first arrived here. Once I knew I was safe, my true self finally had the chance to shine.<br/><br/>I've waited patiently while other cats found their homes, but I know my family is out there somewhere. I'm ready for a cozy bed, a sunny window, and people who will love me for the rest of my life.
