Lafayette

This adorable tiny house panther was rescued from the parking lot of a busy Burger King where he was dodging traffic in the drive through while scavenging for food. He was very underweight and likely would not have survived had we not rescued him. <br/><br/>Lafayette has the most wonderful fur coat- it's sleek and shiny, soft to the touch and solid black except for a small bright white patch on his chest and belly. He has large yellow-green eyes that are always watching you. And although he is a small thing, he has long legs and a long monkey tail! <br/><br/>He is a little timid when approached, but purrs immediately when you touch him. He likes to cuddle, and is content to curl up and nap either with you or in his soft bed. He also is learning how wonderful it is to have toys, and is having a great time playing and figuring out all the new and exciting things indoor life has to offer! <br/><br/>Lafayette was rescued as a solo kitten, but has been being fostered with an adult cat. He has not been around dogs or children, but given his young age he would most likely adapt quickly and easily. We would prefer he be adopted into a home with another feline friend to keep him company. <br/><br/>Lafayette has been neutered, vaccinated, combo tested negative, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas.
