Ladybird's Story

Meet Ladybird, a sweet, gentle soul who is blossoming every day! Ladybird came to us from a hoarding situation, and while her past wasn’t easy, she’s showing us just how much love she has to give. She’s a quiet, sweet cat who's always checking out what we're up to as we move about the kitchen.

Her favorite thing in the world? Her basket/bed! She has many different basket poses she makes us laugh with throughout the day.

Ladybird also has the cutest habits. She loves to rub against all of her foster sisters every time they enter the room, she makes sure you know when it's meal time with a cute and progressively louder announcement (meow), and she does a little hop when she's looking for pets!

Ladybird is still working on her socialization, so she’ll need a patient and understanding adopter who can give her time to feel safe and confident. She’d love a calm home, ideally with another friendly cat (or several) to show her the ropes.

If you have a soft spot for cats with big hearts, Ladybird is ready to bloom in your care. ?

DOB: 05/25/2024

Ready to make Ladybird part of your family forever? Fishtails Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
Fishtails Animal Rescue strives to provide you with a healthy pet. However, the stress of changing environments can lower an animal’s immunity to fight disease and the pet could harbor an infection without displaying symptoms. We cannot guarantee the health of any animal. Any pet adopted out by Fishtails Animal Rescue will be up-to-date on vaccines (unless medically contraindicated), microchipped, spayed/neutered (if age appropriate*), and given a dose of flea/heartworm preventative. The microchip must be registered by the adopter to their new information. *If the animal is not spayed/neutered at time of adoption, the adopter will do so within 2 months after the animal reaches 6 months of age. In addition, if pet is under 16 weeks at the time of adoption, adopter is responsible for boosters for vaccines. Fishtails Animal Rescues is located in Philadelphia, PA and accepts applications within the tri-state area. The first step in our adoption process is to complete the adoption application found on our website. Applications are reviewed within 72 hours of submissions. Please contact the rescue directly at info@farsaves.com with any questions.
