Lady was found living in a backyard shed before coming into rescue, so she takes a little time to trust new people. Treats and patience are the quickest way to win her heart.<br/><br/>Once she feels safe, Lady loves to be held and carried around. She'll give you the sweetest little head hug before letting you know she's ready to be put down.<br/><br/>Lady enjoys affection but also likes her personal space. She may give a gentle warning nip if she becomes overstimulated. She does really well with calm, respectful dogs and will do best as the only cat. How to adopt: because adopting a cat or kitten, or any other pet, is a serious decision, Sun Cities 4 Paws has a team of adoption counselors trained to assist you with finding a feline companion that is likely to be a good fit for your household. They will help you get to know the cats and kittens for adoption, answer questions, and provide information about cat behavior and care. To adopt a cat or kitten: Meet the cats and kittens in-person Allow at least an hour for your visit Meet with an adoption counselor, fill out and sign adoption contract Children under 16 must be accompanied by adult Must be 18 years or older and provide proof of residence Check your lease or renter’s policies prior to visiting Sun Cities 4 Paws Sun Cities 4 Paws reserves the right to refuse an adoption
