What my friends at ACC say about me:<br/>My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!<br/>I have lived with cats in my previous home.<br/>I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.<br/><br/>Meet Kylo!<br/><br/>This kitty has had a rough start in life and is looking for a smooth landing. Kylo came to us from a home where he had little interaction with humans and is still learning that people are friends, not foes. All things considered, the optimal adopter for Kylo is someone patient and willing to go slow as well as someone who is experienced with cats and has a good grasp on feline behavior and body language. Luckily, he responds well to treats (especially crunchy ones like Temptations!) so you've got one route to his heart already. Our hope is, with time and patience, he'll be able to decompress and come further out of his shell. He just needs the opportunity, so if you're interested in being the one to give that to him, come say hi to Kylo at SIACC!<br/><br/>A volunteer writes: Kylo just likes to have options and while we don't believe he's asking too much by any means, shelter life doesn't always provide for so many. We invite him to make choices whenever we can and though Kylo's careful deliberation process may be a bit under wraps at the moment, we can see that he likes having his choice of foods, toys, and space to interact with us when it makes sense to him. Kylo was brought to us from a home with many other cats and while he has a lot of experience doing his own thing, he has much less experience with people.
