Kyle's Story
Kyle is an adorable black bear cub with a sweet little meow that's as wispy as his soft fur. When you enter the room, Kyle will sit patiently at your feet as he waits for you to stroke his fluffy body from head to tail. If you take too long, he will politely let you know he is ready for attention by letting out a tiny, little, breathy meow. No matter how loud this sweet boy tries to meow, it always sounds like he is whispering or maybe like he's lost his voice. His tender little mews could not match his gentle personality more perfectly. Kyle is a lover boy and hopes to find a forever family who will shower him with all the love and affection he deserves.

During his time in foster, Kyle was diagnosed with a regressive FeLV infection. FeLV is an infection that affects a cat's immune system and often gives them a shortened lifespan. Thankfully, Kyle has regressive FeLV which means his body has fought off the infection enough to make the virus go dormant. Many cats with regressive FeLV live happy and healthy lives with normal lifespans. While he is not currently contagious to other cats, he could potentially become contagious in the future if his FeLV were to become progressive. Kyle is looking for a home that will be proactive with his health and keep him up to date on his vaccines since illness and stress can be a potential trigger for the virus to progress. Due to his regressive FeLV, Kyle is looking for a home without other cats, with his buddies Beatrice and Elsje (who also have regressive FeLV), or to a home with other cats with regressive FeLV. If you are interested in this sweet boy, Kyle's foster parents would be happy to discuss his diagnosis in more detail.

To be considered, please apply at feistyfelines.org/adoption-application. Adoption fees for kittens are $235/one or $425/pair, adults are $160. Shy guys and special cases may be discounted. Includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines up to date, dewormed, flea treated, and combo testing done on the litter.
