Hi everyone… my name is KoKomo. I’m a beautiful little dark tortie lady with a sweet soul and a second chance at life.<br/><br/>I originally came to Furball through the TNR program. The plan was simple… trap, neuter, return. But when Dr. Ashley examined me, she discovered my mouth was in terrible shape and I had a really bad upper respiratory infection. Instead of being sent back outside, everyone decided I deserved something more. I became a Furball.<br/><br/>The Furball team worked very hard to help me feel better. I had all of my teeth removed, but don’t worry… I still eat like a champ! Wet food? Crunchy food? Snacks? I can handle them all just fine.<br/><br/>I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once you start petting me, I melt into a loving little muffin-making machine. I absolutely love making biscuits while being told how pretty I am. I enjoy cozy beds, tall cat trees, sunny catio naps, and hanging out with other nice kitties. Every once in a while I even get the zoomies and play with toys like a youngster again.<br/><br/>I may be a senior girl, but I still have so much love left to give. I’m looking for a quiet, loving home where I can spend my golden years being safe, spoiled, and adored forever.<br/><br/>You can come meet me daily from 1–5pm at Furball Farm Cat Sanctuary.<br/><br/>My new perfect family NEEDS to understand that it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I settle in. Give me time, patience, and use food as a tool to get me out of my shell — I really am a wonderful cat.<br/><br/>I am fully vetted: spayed, microchipped, FIV & FeLV negative, treated for fleas/ticks/and intestinal parasites, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations: distemper, rabies, and FeLV.
