Kobe's Story
MEET KOBE...

Kobe recently came into our care after suddenly no longer being able to coexist with the Golden Retriever he had once lived with and loved. Prior to arriving at the rescue, Kobe had gone missing for over a week. Given his history as an indoor/outdoor cat, we suspect he may have had a frightening encounter with a dog during that time that left a lasting impression. Because of this, Kobe would do best in a dog-free home. However, he absolutely adores other cats and has done wonderfully with children.

Like many cats who have spent years outdoors, Kobe wears the marks of a life well lived. His crinkled ear is likely the result of frostbite, his thick, luxurious coat tells the story of braving Maine winters, and hes even missing one of his canine teeth. They dont take away from his handsome face—they simply add to the story of everything hes overcome.

Sadly, because Kobe was unvaccinated and likely exposed to other unvaccinated, potentially contagious cats during his time outdoors, he tested positive for FIV. The good news is that FIV-positive cats can live long, healthy, happy lives and make wonderful companions with proper care.

And Kobe truly is one of a kind.

This handsome boy is a gentle giant with the cutest round cheeks, oversized paws, an adorable little meow, and a personality thats impossible not to fall in love with. He is incredibly affectionate, loves to cuddle, and would happily spend the entire day curled up beside you soaking in all the love and attention you have to offer. He is, quite simply, a giant teddy bear in cat form.

Kobe has already had a complete dental, is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and is more than ready for a lifetime of being loved.

Apply here
https://form.jotform.com/82708252435154
