Klondike was surrendered to us when his people had to move and couldn’t take him. His previous people said he’s very used to having his nails trimmed, and does well with kids. He’s super outgoing in his kennel where her comfortable, but a little nervous in new spaces. After about 10 minutes, he starts to open up and starts purring and seeking out affection. He has the CUTEST big white tip on his tail, and the most handsome eyes with gold on the outer edges and a hint of green on the inside! <br/><br/>Please email us at cchs04@sbcglobal.net for an application if you’d like one!

The Humane Society of Clinton County, Indiana's Adoption Policy
We require a "foster to adopt" program for all adopters, whether it be that the pet that you are interested in still has some medical work up to be done or whether we just want to give the pet time to adjust. An application is required to be filled out at the time of adoption. No appointment required to visit the animals during open hours. Upon finalizing adoption, each pet is current on vaccinations, altered, microchipped, FeLV/FIV test and/or heartworm tested. All animals over 7 years of age will have bloodwork performed at the vet. All known medical issues will be taken care of at the vet prior to finalizing adoption (dental cleanings, hernia repairs, mass removals, etc.).
