Kiwi's Story

Hello, I'm Kiwi, a gorgeous 5-year-old girl with a big heart and an even bigger purr! My sister Noodle and I used to share a home with two humans, two dog friends, and another cat. Sadly, when our family split up, we found ourselves looking for a new place to call home.

I am a loving, affectionate kitty who adores people. When you pet me, I get so happy that I drool a little—it's my special way of showing just how much I'm enjoying the attention! I love being brushed and will happily soak up all the affection you're willing to give.

While I'm mostly a laid-back girl, I do have a playful side. I enjoy a few favorite toys, especially a large mouse that I love to carry around and play with. After some playtime, you'll often find me curled up on a lap, purring contentedly.

My foster mom says I am incredibly sweet, friendly, and easygoing. She's never heard me hiss or growl. I get along wonderfully with other cats and dogs and would fit nicely into a variety of homes. My sister Noodle and I are great friends and enjoy each other's company, but we are not bonded and can be adopted separately.

I haven't spent time with children in my foster home, but my gentle personality suggests I would likely do well with older, respectful kids who know how to be kind to cats.

I am spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV, and up-to-date on all of my vaccinations. If you're looking for a loving companion who will reward your affection with endless purrs, cuddles, and the occasional happy drool, I would love to meet you!

Note: All of our cats are in foster homes in the Pittsburgh area, so the first step in adopting from us is to fill out an application here:
http://bit.ly/3VDJfhm
