Kitty Cat Tortoiseshell Mix Minneapolis, MN

Hi, I’m Kitty Cat, I am about 14 years old and am sweet and talkative. I am looking for a new home. I have had several families, and probably because of that, I am fairly independent. I moved in with my current family eight months ago when my previous human had health problems and couldn’t care for me anymore. I like my new humans a lot. What I don’t like at all are their other cats. They tried many things to help me get along with the other cats, but nothing worked. I need to be the only cat in a home, and ideally, the only pet.

I like to be in the same room with my humans just not sitting on their lap. I am content to sit or sleep most of the day. I play a little bit. My favorite toy is the one that gives treats when I bat at it.

I am expressive. I talk a lot to let my feeling known. Especially when I am hungry!

I have some health issues. (Who doesn’t as we get older?) My main problem is hyperthyroidism. I take liquid medicine twice a day. It’s no problem. My humans put it on my food and I eat it up. I am highly food motivated!

I am spayed. Many years ago, a human declawed my front paws.

I am looking for someone who wants a companion but does not want the headaches that come with a kitten.
