Kit Kat's Story
Kit Kat: The Little Lover Boy (Male, Estimated age 6 months, Striped Tabby) <br/>Kit Kat’s life began on the streets, where he spent his earliest months learning to survive on his own. A kind woman found tiny Kit Kat wandering around her residential development and started feeding him every day. After a couple of weeks, she was able to bring Kit Kat inside and worked tirelessly socializing him before transferring him to Bedford Cares.<br/>Kit Kat is—first and foremost—a lover boy. He craves human affection more than anything in the world, yet his time on the streets left him wondering, if the pets and cuddles that he loves so much are really safe. Sometimes, just as Kit Kat begins melting into a cuddle, he’ll startle and hop away, looking back as if to ask: "Is this wonderfulness really safe?"<br/>Little Kit Kat doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his little body, he just needs a reassuring soul to tell him "Yes this is safe; you are safe," when he asks. I can’t imagine what this sweet boy went through on the streets all by himself, and yet somehow his little heart still grew bigger and brighter than the north star. All he needs is a loving and accepting home where it is safe to let his guard down, so his heart can keep growing in love and trust.
