KitKat's Story

PLEASE NOTE: You must complete an ADOPTION APPLICATION in order to receive a response. https://www.homeatlastrescue.ca/adoption-form/, or click on the "MORE ABOUT HOME AT LAST RESCUE" button in the bottom right for a direct link.

Looking for a sweet little treat who loves all the attention? KitKat is a lovely two-year-old calico with a calm, gentle nature. She’s quite friendly and loves attention, often letting you know she’d like some pets with the sweetest little chirps. She is a patient girl who will politely sit and wait for you to give her some love. KitKat is still building her confidence, but her affectionate side is already shining through. She enjoys sitting or lying close to you for pets, even if she’d rather settle beside you than on your lap. She’s a laid-back, calm girl who takes most things in stride and is happy to enjoy the quieter side of life. When she’s not soaking up attention, you might find her relaxing in a cozy, sheltered spot under the bed or table, or perched on a windowsill, watching the world go by. She has been busy being a mama, so she hasn’t quite shown her playful side yet – but it’s something she’d love to work on in her new home! KitKat enjoys her treats and is a big fan of both wet and dry food. The way to her heart might just be through her stomach! KitKat hasn’t met any cats up close yet, but she doesn’t seem bothered by their presence from a distance, so her feelings about feline friends are still to be discovered. She will be fine going to a home on her own, as long as she has someone to give her all the attention she craves – someone who works from home would be a great match!

KitKat was found outside just after having her babies. Based on how friendly she is, it's possible someone left her behind, but we’ll never know for sure. Now that she's finished being a great mom to her babies, she is ready to find her own forever home at last.

If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing companion who will happily keep you company, chirp a little hello, and enjoy some quiet time by your side, KitKat might be the perfect treat for you.

As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. For example, if it is stipulated that the cat needs another cat buddy at home and you do not have one, you may not receive a response. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first-come, first-served.
