KitCat's Story

Meet KitCat -- a spunky, silly, toy-loving little whirlwind who is basically personality in cat form.
KitCat is about 2 years old, female, already spayed, and fully up to date on vaccines. She's a beautiful tabby and white girl with a big personality packed into a small body. She came to us after being found as a stray and originally brought in for TNR, but her sweet nature and some complications after her spay made it clear she wasn't meant for outdoor colony life. She clearly prefers the indoor life... with optional catio or screen in porch entertainment.
Let's talk personality, because that's her whole thing: KitCat is spunky, goofy, and endlessly entertaining. She LOVES toys--like, really loves them. She'll toss them in the air, chase them, and entertain herself like she's putting on a one-cat show. Then she'll hit you with a burst of zoomies like she just remembered she has important business to attend to.
And yes--she's affectionate in her own hilarious way. Expect little love bites while she's playing (she gets excited and just... participates with enthusiasm), followed by instant "okay I'm done, time to zoom" energy.
She is FIV positive, but otherwise healthy and thriving. FIV cats can live long, happy lives--especially in a safe indoor home where they're loved and low-stress.
Socially, KitCat has opinions. She would likely do best as the only cat, or with very independent, easygoing cats who don't mind a little spice. She's not looking for drama--just her own space, toys, and a human audience.
She enjoys watching the world from windows and relaxing in a catio, but she's very content indoors and doesn't seem to crave outdoor roaming anymore.
If you're looking for a cat with personality, humor, and a lot of heart--KitCat is your girl. She'll keep you laughing, keep herself entertained, and absolutely make your house feel less empty.Adoption Hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 11 AM to 4 PM. You do not need an appointment to come by and meet animals during adoption hours.

Raskel's Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our main goal is to place animals in the right home to increase owner retention. For example, we would avoid placing a highly active dog into a sedentary home. Our application does not allow for anyone to apply for a specific animal, it is more of a questionnaire so that it has people think about what they are looking for. Such as an active dog vs a calm dog or a dog that needs grooming often vs a short haired dog. We just want to make the right match for your household.
