Kit's Story
š PLEASE SHARE FOR ADOPTABLE KIT. SHE JUST NEEDS SOMEONE TO GIVE HER A CHANCE. š

Our sweet 11ā2-year-old Kit has been waiting for 258 days. And while she has made some progress lately, she is still waiting for someone who understands that trust takes time. š„ŗ

Kit is a shy, gentle girl who wants to experience the world on her own terms. She isn't going to immediately run up and ask for attention, and she may need quite a bit of time before she feels comfortable enough to truly let her personality shine.
But lately, we've seen little glimpses of that personality -- and they make us so hopeful. š

When Kit feels safe, she enjoys playing with toys and exploring her surroundings. She loves having the opportunity to investigate, observe, and do things at her own pace. She also seems to enjoy having feline visitors to her catio, so we believe she could do well in a home with another cat.

What Kit needs most is patience.

She needs someone who won't expect instant affection. Someone who will give her a safe space, let her decide when she's ready to come closer, and celebrate every tiny step forward.

Maybe one day she'll curl up beside you. Maybe she'll become a confident little explorer. Maybe she'll surprise us with how much she blossoms once she has a home of her own.

But we need to give her that chance first. š

After 258 days, Kit is still living in her catio. She would love a foster home or better yet, a forever home!

Please, please share her. š

We are desperately hoping to get Kit out of the shelter and into a loving home where she can finally continue growing in confidence at her own pace.

She doesn't need someone to rush her. She needs someone willing to wait for her.

Her person is out there. We just need your help finding them. š¾

š Adoption/Foster Application: https://form.jotform.com/213275062626049
š§ adoptions@animalprotectors.net
š (724) 339-7388
š 730 Church Street, New Kensington, PA
