If you're looking for a queen to rule your household, Kissy is the kitty for you.

Kissy gives affectionate head bumps to her foster mom and loves to be kissed on her head. (Hmmm, think that's how she got her name?)

She's wary of strangers at first, but becomes very loving and sweet once she gets to know you. Kissy loves high perches where she can enjoy the sun and take long naps... and lord over her domain.

She's very playful, mischievous, and enjoys attention in short bursts (she can get over stimulated easily). Because Kissy has always felt the need to compete with others for food and shelter, she sometimes bullies other cats. If she were in a home as a single cat or with another cat that is equally assertive (or can stand his or her ground), she'd be just fine and wouldn't feel the need to be defensive.

Kissy is a 1-1/2 to 2-year old dilute Tortoiseshell cat which means she has very few (or no) white markings, as opposed to calicos, and her colors are muted.

Kissy was rescued from a difficult situation by Animal Control, and Feral Affairs Network pulled her from there... because we saw her potential and unique personality and wanted to give her a chance at a fresh start with a caring, stable family.

Our motto: “Connecting compassionate hearts to save community cats.”

All our adoptable cats and kittens are:
* spayed / neutered
* vaccinated (rabies & FVRCP)
* tested negative for FIV & FeLV diseases
* parasite-free (dewormer & flea prevention)
* provided additional veterinarian visits, if needed for any health issues
* conveyed to you with all medical records at time of adoption
