Kip Dynamite (bonded siblings Tina & Napoleon Dynamite)

Hello there, friend! Thanks for stopping by!

At Hobbes Haven our mission is to help shape & support a better life for feral & stray cat colonies in our varying communities of the Columbia River Gorge.

We want to introduce you to Kip Dynamite (don't forget his bonded siblings Tina & Napoleon Dynamite)

Kip Dynamite is the middle sibling, so with this little guy you get the best of both worlds- you get a spunky and playful attitude mixed with a wave of calm and sweetness that tones him down enough to cozy up on your lap while watching a movie. Kip is twins with Tina, they both have a light tabby pattern on a gradient of fuzzy gray fur, that makes each of them feel like a teddy bear. Kip likes to meow and talk to you to get your attention and looks for your eyes to make eye contact before nodding down to allow you to pet him. This sweet little boy loves to play with his brother Napoleon and be groomed and cuddle with his big sister Tina.

Kip Dynamite and his siblings were rescued from a trailer park in The Dalles, Oregon. Two young stray moms, around 4 months old, each had a very difficult time with their first litters. These young moms were lucky to find a porch to dig under and a broken roof to crawl into to birth their litters. When Hobbes Haven got the call about these kittens, there were over 12 kittens running around. By the time we were able to actually catch the kittens, we only walked away with 8 kittens, and one unfortunately passed during the rescue. The kittens we pulled from under the porch were covered in fleas, and the ones that we pulled from the roof were so jammed in there, that it was how one of the kittens passed unfortunately, by the time we were able to break the roof to get to them, the kitten was lifeless- an incredibly hard start to their lives. All of the kittens were covered in fleas, but the ones under the porch where we found Kip and his siblings, were almost anemic from the number of fleas on their tiny bodies.

Due to them being rescued together and tamed for domestication alongside one another, they have endured growth together that has bonded them. Our goal is for Kip Dynamite to be adopted his bonded siblings Tina & Napoleon Dynamite.

Currently we have an estimated guess that Napoleon Dynamite was born mid July . His adoption fee will cover:
- His neuter surgery: ensuring he will have a healthy future!
- x3 FVRCP vaccines- the full kitten series
- 1 year rabies vaccine
- x3-4 deworming treatments
- Flea bath & month-long flea protection
- Nail trims
- Microchip with a lifetime subscription
-----

We hope to find families that will keep in touch with Hobbes Haven and update us with pictures and videos of our rescued friends! Remember that many times we have been fostering these kittens for many months, and that is another reason you know Hobbes Haven is a good-hearted organization to support, because our goal is to find the RIGHT homes, NOT a home RIGHT NOW.
Here at Hobbes Haven we focus on supporting the health and well-being of feral and stray cat colonies via T-N-R-M (Trap- Neuter- Return- Monitor); if we encounter kittens or cats young enough or friendly enough to domesticate, we rescue them from those sites and work with them directly to get them healthy and ready for a second chance at life as a part of a family and a home. Our rescued cats and kittens are unique being that they were born as feral or stray cats, meaning it took more time and involvement to domesticate them may than others. When you support Hobbes Haven via your adoption and donations, you are helping a bigger ripple effect, because you are supporting existing feral cat colonies stop their cycle of suffering by getting all colony cats sterilized and vaccinated, but also offering a very rare second chance to a few lucky ones.
At Hobbes Haven, your adoption fee helps us cover this Cinder's first veterinary care at one of our collaborating veterinary clinics in the Columbia River Gorge.

Up to the point of adoption, Hobbes Haven has covered all expenses out of pocket- your donations help us cover these collective costs and truly make a difference!

------

Interested in adopting Kip Dynamite?
1. Email us via this link or at HobbesHaven@gmail.com- please allow 24-48 hours for a response.
2. Catch us at one of our upcoming Adoption Clinics held at our collaborating veterinary clinics- follow our socials to learn about the next ones coming up!
3. Make an appointment to meet us virtually and see these rescued kittens in a relaxed and comfortable state.

** Note: We are looking for the right families seeking a bonded pair of kittens- our preference for the benefit of the rescued kittens is for them to have a sibling to grow alongside with, this is for their acclimation to their new home and for their overall quality of life.*
