Kinski, the Velcro cat-of-a- lifetime (with that one unpopular feline special need)'s Story

Which do you want to hear first - the nearly endless screed of exciting qualities and behavior everyone hopes a cat will have (which Kinski has) or the one tiny special needs everyone hates? Okay, she sometimes urinates outside of the box. Thats it. If you are willing to use shredded paper as litter she will gladly use the litter box for her urine and her poop, but her adopter ought to be prepared for this issue to arise and be okay with it, perhaps even being willing to use diapers, but as I say she is great with shredded paper litter. Everything else about this healthy young kitty is to die for, and YOU want it. Constant company, whether youre trying to play a game, do yoga, or see your computer screen over her furry body. Or take a shower. Or take a dump in private. (Your naked lap needs warming, didnt you know?) . Someone to watch out the window for your return and run to the door. Someone to nap on your lap or sleep in the crook of your neck in bed. Someone to kneed your chest when youre chilling. A good conversationalist who insists on helping you with things and getting into your business - your best friend and your parents all in one charming smokey package of fur, especially if you best friends have a way of forgetting to bring their tongues back inside their mouth. Kinskis record for that is eight minutes straight.

She meows for you when you leave her, gives you lots of slow I love you blinks, and puts her paws up on you when you get up from bed or are trying to get dressed. She waits for you outside the shower. If she strays from your side, shell come when you call. Kinski gets so happy when you pet her that her tail falls back so that the white spot at the end of it touches her head, and she has a very discreet but sweet (unslobbery) tiny drool she can't help doing - just a little drop or two.

If interested in adoption, please TEXT YOUR ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS BELOW to (845) 532-5850 - We will reply promptly to everyone who writes in with their answers to the questions. If we feel that you & this kitty sound like a great match, we will endeavor to get back to you right away to exchange references and to work out her trip to you. Thank you so much for your time!

Here are the questions we'd like you to answer, please:

1. Can you share your views about feline nutrition and diet, as follows? Would you consider feeding this kitty dry food? If so, what brands and if not, why not? Would you consider feeding this kitty canned food? If so, what brands and if not, why not? Would you consider feeding this kitty raw food (either bought from a store or homemade) and if not, why not? Also, what kind of water would you offer this kitty and what brand of litter would you use in your litterbox? Thanks!

2. What are your views, pro or con, on declawing?

3. What sort of domicile do you live in (house, rented apartment, trailer, etc.) and who (please mention any and all humans and non-humans) lives there with you, please?

4. What are your views, pro or con, on neutering/spaying?

5. Under what circumstances would you consider parting with a kitty you'd adopted? (We are 100% no-kill and would want to take back, at any time and for any reason, anyone you adopted from us if you wanted to part company with him or her.)

6. It can be very helpful, in determining whether Kitty and Human would make a good match, to have some information about the person, so if you could say something about your interests/hobbies/lifestyle/leisure pursuits, that would be great. Please also give a little information about your job/profession/source of income. Lastly, if there's anything you want to say about volunteer work you've done caregiving to non-humans (say, at a shelter or sanctuary) or about previous experiences you have had caring for your own or for others' (say, as a cat-sitter or dog-walker), that's helpful too!

7. Would Kinski be, if you adopted her, an indoor/outdoor kitty, an indoor only kitty, or an outdoor kitty?

8. Finally [Optional], if there is anything about this particular kitty's looks as shown in the photos, or personality as written about in the post, that particularly calls to you or speaks to you or appeals to you, please could you share that? Thank you so much! :)
