KINDRA's Story

Kindra is a stunning dilute tortie with a story that truly lives up to her name, which means “greatest champion.” This brave girl is a survivor in every sense of the word. Rescued from a burning building, Kindra has shown incredible resilience and strength, overcoming her past with a quiet courage that is nothing short of inspiring. Despite everything she’s been through, her spirit remains gentle, and her will to trust and love again shines brighter each day.
Kindra has a calm, thoughtful personality and tends to take in the world at her own pace. She’s observant, soulful, and forms deep bonds with those she feels safe around. Once she settles in, she enjoys soft affection, cozy resting spots, and simply being near her person. There’s a special kind of connection with Kindra—one built on patience, respect, and the understanding that she’s not just a pet, but a little warrior with a big heart.
She is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and has been given excellent care as she recovers and thrives. Kindra would do best in a quiet, loving home where she can continue to feel secure and cherished. She may take a little time to fully open up, but for the right person, the bond you’ll build with her will be deeply rewarding.
If you’re looking for a companion with a powerful story, a gentle soul, and the heart of a champion, Kindra is ready to start her next chapter with you. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. My adoption fee is $50
