Kinako's Story

Meet Kinako, the shy little toy enthusiast with the tiniest, sweetest meow you've ever heard! At almost 1 year old, Kinako is still very much a kitten at heart. New people can be a little intimidating, so she may take some time to come out of her shellbut once she decides you're one of her people, you'll get to see the silly, playful, and incredibly lovable girl hiding underneath.Kinako's greatest passion in life? Toys. Springs, wand toys, ball tracks, crinkly thingsyou name it, she loves it. She's the kind of cat who can turn almost anything into a game and keep herself entertained with her playful antics. One of her favorite pastimes is sitting by a window, keeping an eye on the birds, squirrels, and neighborhood happenings before returning to her important toy-related business. While she's not the type to demand constant attention, Kinako does enjoy pets and cuddles when she's in the mood. The best part is when she chooses to hop up next to you or ask for affection, it feels like you've been personally selected by feline royalty.Because she's young, active, and social, Kinako would love a home where she gets plenty of playtime. She'd be especially happy with a young cat friend to wrestle, play, and grow up with. She would do well with a resident cat, provided they're friendly, playful, and looking for a companion.Kinako is spayed, vaccinated, etc. and ready to find a family that will give her a little patience and a lot of love. If you're looking for a cat whose trust is earned, whose meow is impossibly cute, and whose playful personality will make you smile every day, Kinako might just be your perfect match. If you would like to know more about Kinako, please email dakjan50@yahoo.com.

Cat Tales Rescue's Adoption Policy
Cats are a 15 - 20 year commitment, so we work very hard to make sure that the cat or kitten you are interested in is a good match. We want you to have the right cat! All of our cats and kittens come with a life-time return guarantee.  They can be returned at any time and for any reason. We often recommend a two week trial just to be sure it is a good fit.  We've had people suggest that this is hard on cats.  It is!  But not as hard as being in the wrong home for a decade or more.   Re-homing adult cats can take months or longer, so it is our goal for all adoptions to be for the life of the cat. Cat Tales cats and kittens will have the following before adoption. Spay / Neuter surgery Screening for Feline Leukemia and FIV Age appropriate vaccines Micro-chipping Treatment for  known parasites [Typically fleas, worms and mites.]
