Meet Kimchi 🌸<br/><br/>Cats: Well- Matched <br/>Dogs: Unknown<br/>kids: No thank-you<br/><br/>This beautifully fermented angel is 6 years old and has had a stressful start to life. Kimchi was surrendered to our shelter due to his owner moving and being unable to afford his medical care. Despite everything he’s been through, this sweet boy remains one of the softest, gentlest souls you could ever meet.<br/><br/>Sadly, Kimchi’s teeth were in very poor condition, and he had to undergo extensive dental work. He now only has his canine teeth left, along with a few tiny incisors. He is still recovering from his dental procedure and has been eating wet food only with us, three times a day. At this time, we are unsure if he will want to eat kibble again, so his future adopter must be comfortable continuing a wet-food-only diet if that’s what works best for him.<br/><br/>Kimchi is looking for a calm, cozy “Netflix and chill” type of home. We don’t think a busy household would suit this sensitive guy. He is currently sharing a room at the shelter with a shy female cat, and they seem to coexist very well, so he may do okay with another calm, well-matched cat with a similar energy level. We do not have any history regarding dogs. No young children for this gentleman, please.<br/><br/>Kimchi has had bloodwork completed, a urine test, and has tested negative on his SNAP test.
