Kiara's Story

Kiara arrived at the Sanctuary at Haafsville as an owner surrender due to her owner moving and not being able to take her. During her time with us, Kiara has shown her desire for attention by rubbing against the kennel door and chatting with us, but she only permits a few pets. After all, she has to keep an eye out for any potential intruders! With that in mind, she would thrive as the only cat in a household since she tends to unleash her inner tiger to fend off any other felines that come too close. We believe she won't act this way in a loving home; she simply needs someone who will cherish her for who she is and let her embrace her inner lioness. Visit us at our Dog Adoption Center located at 901 Nestle Way, Breinigsville 18031 PA Kennel License #8356 DOG Open Hours – Saturdays 10am – 2pm PLEASE NOTE: *Dog adoptions will not take place during this timeframe. Applications will only be taken. We do not pre-approve our dog applications. *Please keep your current dogs at home! *Please do your best to have ALL (human) members of the household present to meet the dogs. *You may experience long waits as we work with everyone…we are all volunteers and sometimes short staffed, so your patience is appreciated. *Please direct inquiries to dogadoptions@thesanctuarypa.org only if you cannot make it out on a Saturday.
