Due to an unexpected housing change, their owner is unfortunately no longer able to keep them, and Kia is now looking for a calm, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace.<br/><br/>While she is shyer than her brother, Kia is a friendly cat and forms strong bonds once she feels comfortable. She loves curling up in her person’s lap and will happily nap on the best beside you at night. She enjoys gentle pets along her back and is curious about her surroundings, quietly exploring once she feels secure. Kia isn’t overly playful, but she does enjoy the occasional laser pointer session. She’s well-mannered, uses the litter box perfectly, and has no history of aggression.<br/><br/>Kia would thrive in a quieter home where her new family understands that she may hide at first but will blossom with patience and kindness. She’s healthy, spayed, and up to date on her core care. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
