Hi, my name is Kevin - My human family is moving out of the country and it's hard enough to get the two legged family members packed and ready to go. I am not what some might consider a 'scaredy cat', but that is a pretty traumatic experience. My human mom does not believe I would travel well - She knows me. So, she is helping me to find a new home. So, about me, I am about 8 years old. I am a bit of a chunky boy - about 20 pounds. I have house cat siblings and we are allowed to free feed (and I do!). I am a curious guy and used to have great fun opening the lower cabinets in the kitchen - but mom 'kid proofed' them, so, oh well. I might be timid at first, but once I warm up, I can be your best bud. I might be a bit too much as a lap cat, but I can sit beside you when we watch tv. I would do much better with older kids. The young ones can be a bit noisy. I do love to be brushed, so those older kids can handle a brush better. Maybe if you have kids, we can get me on an exercise program - I do like to play. I do live with a couple of dogs so, if you have one of those, depending on the age, breed and size - I can adjust. Slow introductions are always best. The other cats in my house are fine - but really slow introductions can be best. I have had some outdoor time - but I think I can adjust to an indoor life. A perch by the window to watch the world go by would be nice. I am current on my vaccines, will be microchipped and I am very good with the litterbox.If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.
