Kettle can be almost too friendly sometimes, hopping not just on your lap, but on your chest to nuzzle your face. He would love to have a lap of his own, one that he doesnt have to share with four other kittens. The leader of his litter, Kettle is a playful boy who likes other cats.<br/><br/>Very friendly<br/><br/>O Kettle is one of the first kittens to run over when anyone enters the kitten room. He wants his share of pats and cuddles sooner. But he has only been around a child once, and can be a bit uncertain about them at first.<br/><br/>O Kettle is perfectly happy to be held and carried. When you pick him up, he snuggles and purrs.<br/><br/>O Kettle likes sitting on laps. Hell hop up on you without hesitation, rub up against you, and sniff your face. Sometimes, he licks or climbs on shoulders. Kettle likes to sit on your chest and nuzzle your face and ears. He nuzzles so much that he can knock off your glasses.<br/><br/>O Kettle loves kneading and mock nursing on fluffy blankets. Hed probably hop onto your lap right away if you put a fluffy blanket over it, but its been far too hot lately to try that.<br/><br/>Leader of his litter<br/><br/>O Kettle is the top kitten of his litter. Hes the one who runs out first, who bounces on the others to wrestle, and who claims all the toys if he can.<br/><br/>O Kettle is the first kitten to jump the kitten bar and run out into the main house if he can. Hes met his fosters adult cats and is fine with them, deferring to them.<br/><br/>O Kettle is a confident boy. Hes sure that the world is good, people are good, and all is good.<br/><br/>O But as the leader of his litter, Kettle expects to do what he wants. At adoption events, he sulks a bit sometimes because he didnt choose to come.<br/><br/>Extra playful<br/><br/>O Kettle is very playful. He loves to play chase and wrestle with his brothers and friends, to play by himself with balls and mice, and especially to chase teasers and the red dot of the laser pointer.<br/><br/>O If allowed, Kettle will claim teasers as his own once hes caught them and prance off with them in pride. If the teasers have stuffed toys like a caterpillar, hell wrestle with them and play with them by himself once hes caught them. If the teasers have feathers, hell be even more excited by them and eager to catch them.<br/><br/>O Kettle often races around the kitten room, up and down, and regularly bounces on his brothers and friends to get them to wrestle, whether they want to or not.<br/><br/>O Kettle also likes to play with water. Hell dip his feet in the water bowl. If given a basin of water with toys floating in it, hell happily fish them out—and even put both his front paws in the water while playing.<br/><br/>Likes other cats<br/><br/>O Kettle likes other cats. He jumps out of the kitten room to go meet his fosters adult cats and explore. The adult cats dont mind him because he gives them enough deference.<br/><br/>O Kettle regularly plays with the second litter, the kittens he isnt related to. Hell snuggle with them and lick them too.<br/><br/>Not a Solo Cat<br/><br/>O Kettle is not a solo cat. He needs a buddy. Kettle has never been alone, without other cats, and he wouldnt like it at all.<br/><br/>O Kettle would love to be adopted with one of his brothers, Ruffles, or Pringle. They love each other. Hed also be happy to be adopted with one of his friends, Bruno or Mirada.<br/><br/>O However, Kettle would be happy with another cat too, as long as the other cat would play with him and wouldnt mind being bounced on and having their tail chased.<br/><br/>Meet<br/><br/>O You can meet Kettle on Saturdays from 12 to 4 at the Meoowz adoption event at the Buena Park Petco or at his fosters home by arrangement.
