Kenta is a beautiful Domestic Shorthair who came to us from the same hoarding situation in Mauston involving an excess of belongings and a large number of cats. Working alongside the Juneau County Sheriff's Office, we were able to take custody of Kenta and the other cats involved. <br/><br/>Kenta is a bit more reserved and thoughtful in new environments. He's still learning that people can be gentle and that quiet spaces are safe. Because of his past, he may need some extra time to adjust to a new home - but with patience, consistency, and kindness, he will continue to gain confidence at his own pace.<br/><br/>He does well coexisting with other cats and is comfortable around dogs, making him a good fit for a calm, understanding multi-pet household. Kenta would thrive in a home that allows him to settle in gradually and respects his need for space while he builds trust.<br/><br/>Cats like Kenta may not demand attention right away, but the bond you earn with them is incredibly special.<br/><br/>All of our cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines.
