Meet Kendall! This little lady is an independent, playful gal who loves to cuddle up on your lap after a good play session. One of her favorite activities is to curl up and sleep above her persons head and keep you company through the night. <br/><br/>Kendall would prefer to be the only cat in the home as she is very stressed by other cats. She has lived with a large breed dog and done well and she has lived with children and done well with them. <br/><br/>This cat has specific litterbox needs. When you bring this cat home they will need to be set up in a room by themselves. This cat will go home with a behavior plan that you will need to follow in order for them to use the litterbox reliably.<br/><br/>Ready To Adopt?<br/><br/>You have two options:<br/><br/>#1- VISIT IN PERSON<br/>Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available cats in the shelter. <br/>(Cats in foster care are not available for in-person visits.)<br/><br/>#2- ADOPT REMOTELY OR PLACE A 24-HOUR HOLD**<br/>If you're ready to adopt without meeting the cat first, or you'd like to place a non-refundable $25 hold to reserve a cat for 24 hours, just call or email us: (413) 781-4000 x 1 springfield@dakinhumane.org. We are often helping other clients when you call, but we return voicemails and emails within 24 hours.<br/><br/>**Holds are not available on Saturdays and during adoption events.<br/>--------------------------------------------<br/>All cat adoption fees include; <br/>-spay/neuter<br/>-rabies vaccine<br/>-current distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian)<br/>-FeLV/FIV blood test<br/>-microchip implanted & registered to the adopter<br/>-treatment of fleas/ticks/ear mites<br/>-veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin<br/>-free vet exam within 30 days after adoption with participating veterinarians<br/>Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your new pet.
