Keisha's Story

Her story was almost over before it had barely happened. Her 'finders' heard a noise coming from their parked car. They had to jack up the car to get her out-but they did it. She was such a tiny little thing to be out on her own. Don't let her size fool you though...while she is still petite, she is full of personality! She's spunky, funny, and nosey. It it's happening, she wants to be in the know! This is Keisha and she's ready to finish the final step of her comeback-finding her forever home! Ozark-Dale County Humane Society's Adoption Policy

After choosing the pet you are interested in, we require an adoption application to ensure your environment is a good fit for the pet you have chosen. When you have met and made the final decision to adopt the pet, we require an adoption contract to make certain you will be a good caregiver. Adoption fees are $125.00 for dogs/puppies and $75.00 adoption fee for cats/kittens. All age eligible pets are spayed or neutered prior to completion of the adoption process. If the pet is too young for surgery, you will be provided a date for surgery per the adoption contract. (Included in adoption fee.) If you choose to use your own vet, we will reimburse surgery fees up to the amount our vet is charging. Dogs are heart worm tested, on preventative, spay/neutered (if of age), and have vaccinations up to date, and micro-chipped. Cats are Feline Leukemia/Aids tested, spay/neutered (if of age), vaccinations up to date, and micro-chipped upon request. ~We also require a vet reference and/or home visit or alternate information.
