However, she could peacefully co-exist with a very calm, independent resident cat or dog who is happy to give her space. KayKay has a working diagnosis of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Don't let the medical label intimidate you--her daily routine is incredibly straightforward! She just needs a specific hydrolyzed protein diet and a daily over-the-counter B12 supplement. While she is currently stable, she may have occasional flare-ups that require a short, inexpensive course of steroids from your vet.
