Kay's Story

This sweet girl is Kay. She is about 1 year old and super lovey-dovey. She was rescued at a Circle K where she was hanging out, scrounging for food. It's unbelievable that such a friendly kitty would find herself homeless. Obviously she was very loved to be so social. Kay loves attention and head-bumps and rubs on your legs. She also loves wand toys and scratching posts. She has briefly met other kitties in her foster home and greeted them with a half-hearted hiss. She would probably be fine with a laid-back male kitty friend. She would be fine as an only kitty if her new family isn't gone too much.<br/><br/>Kay is spayed, microchipped, FVRCP vaccinated, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV.<br/><br/>!!! It is the policy of Desert Paws Rescue that all potential cat adopters complete a Cat Adoption Consultation Form and an interview with a Desert Paws representative in order to be considered as a forever home for our cats and kittens. Completion of the application and interview process does not guarantee an adoption approval or guarantee the adoption of a particular cat or kitten. Desert Paws Rescue is a privately run, all-volunteer, non-profit organization and reserves the right to refuse any adoption that is not in the best interest of the cat or kitten, based on our principles, policies, and standards. Desert Paws Rescue will determine the best home for each cat or kitten based on the application and interview process. After review of the adoption consultation form and the completion of the interview with a Desert Paws representative, Desert Paws Rescue may recommend a different cat or kitten that is more suitable to your household.
