Katydid - 1 year old

Here is another postcard from foster cat Katydid who has been at Panther Kitty Foster Camp for ONE MONTH!<br/>Katy arrived at the Jefferson Pound (Lake Hopatcong, NJ) at the end of August 2025. She was there with the company of her brothers for MONTHS, until the last two went home a few weeks ago. Overlooked by adopters time and again because Katy was still cautious of people (and lonely with no brothers) when Panther Kitty Foster Camp offered her a spot, we jumped at the chance for her!<br/>Katy is now one year old. Here is her update!<br/>"Postcard from camp<br/> <br/>We celebrated Katys one month campiversary yesterday and have a few milestones to report-She started purring!!! Woohoo! She also started talking with cute little squeaky meows. She has started coming to greet me when I enter the room. She also saw her first bear! <br/>Katy has earned the Easy Ereezy award for being such an easy camper! Shes a dainty little lady! She gets more playful and trusting every day. <br/>She rubs my hand and lets me pet her with the wand toy. We are continuing to take things at her pace."<br/>Thank you, Head Counselor Susan and [doggie] Counselor Rudy! You always do a great job with fosters!
