**FOSTER** **ADOPT** **FOSTER TO ADOPT** Sweet Katrina just needs a home!! Katrina was made homeless when her elderly owner moved in with family, and she couldn't go. She is an extremely friendly girl!! Always swerving between your legs and loves head and cheek rubs. Always up for a cuddle!!! Katrina would need slow introductions to one friendly or aloof cat. She would be a great companion for someone who works from home or a quiet couple or single person home. Respectful kids over 10 are fine. Katrina is 10 yrs old and does have diabetes, that is controlled with diet and a pill crushed into her food. She eats it great! NO insulin!! The medication is $80/month. Her food is not prescription!!! Wet food is $30 every 2 months and dry is $55 every 4-5 months!! Fostered in Florida, but available for adoption to most of the US. Please email for application. Florida Persian and Exotic Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy

WE WILL NOT ANSWER INQUIRIES ASKING IF A CERTAIN CAT IS AVAILABLE. If its listed as adoptable, then its available. If you don't see it listed, it isn't! We also will NOT be answering inquiries asking if the application was received. If you submit online and get the "Thank you for submitting" page, then we got it. 1. Complete the application, in full, and submit. Must be at least 24 yrs old. 2. Conduct a brief phone interview. 3. Home ownership or landlord approval will be verified and both personal and veterinary references contacted. 4. If adopting out of state, a zoom call to do a home check is completed. If adopting within Florida, the home visit will be done in person Please note, we are a small, all volunteer rescue. While we strive to process applications as quickly as possible, it can take up to 1-2 weeks to get through the entire process. We ask that you understand that we all have full-time jobs in addition to our dedication to the rescue; as well as families of our own and emergencies always arise.
