Katara (Bonded with Aang)

Behind Katara’s shy nature is a spunky, lively, and playful spirit just waiting to shine. This gorgeous mini panther is around 2 years old and arrived with her sister, Aang, after a stay in foster care. Katara and Aang are deeply bonded and must find a furrever home together. <br/><br/>Katara is still a little shy around people, but she is becoming more social and starting to enjoy gentle pets and simply being near you, especially when she can listen to your voice—bonus points if you tell her how beautiful she is!While her sister Aang prefers to take it easy, Katara is a busy bee, zipping around her room, checking out toys, and saying hello to her shelter pals. <br/><br/>Katara will do best in a calm, patient home with experienced adopters who are around often and who can read and respect her body language. She loves being near people, but she needs gentle, unhurried interactions, and the freedom to show love on her own terms. With a quiet space and a gentle routine, she will continue to blossom and grow in confidence. She would do well in a home with adults and older children and gets along well with other cats.
