Kat's Story

Meet Kat, a sweet 7-month-old Domestic Shorthair Mix with a curious little face and a bright, sunny outlook on life. This small girl weighs just 5.4 pounds, but her heart is full of love, playfulness, and gentle companionship.
Imagine a sunny afternoon: Kat is perched in a warm window spot, carefully bird-watching while the sunlight highlights her whiskers. A jingle bell toy rolls across the floor, and suddenly shes off on a playful adventure, chasing fuzzy mice, feather wands, crinkle toys, catnip toys, and plush stuffed friends. After her play session, shes happiest curling up on a soft blanket, cozy pet bed, couch, armchair, or cat tree, ready for a well-earned nap.
Kat enjoys affection and attention and loves head bumps, ear scratches, chin scratches, head pats, lap time, and leaning against her favorite people. She has a friendly personality, gets along well with other cats, and is comfortable around children. She appears to be litter trained, can be left alone comfortably, and should be kept safely indoors where she can continue to thrive.
She enjoys an active lifestyle balanced with plenty of lounging, loves treats like Churu, Delectables, Friskies treats, and Temptations, and responds well to positive rewards. Kat can have food available throughout the day and eats when shes hungry. Her vaccinations are up to date, and shell benefit from routine veterinary care, human interaction, playtime, and mental enrichment.
If you're looking for a loving companion who can brighten your days with playful energy and cozy cuddles, Kat may be the perfect addition to your family. Come meet this charming young lady and see if shes the friend youve been waiting for.
For more information on how to adopt, please call the shelter at 863 324 5227 to see if this pet is still available for adoption.
