Meet Kat, a not so creative name for such a beautiful, sweet, soft girl. Kat was brought to Second Chance from a rescue on the east side of the state faced with overcrowding. It's thought that Kira may be Kat's sister. Same white and black coloring but differently placed spots. How fun?<br/><br/>Kat's confidence is growing daily. It has been quite the ordeal for her to be trapped, brought to the shelter on the east side, travel across the state and then land at Second Chance where she is now housed with multiple cats. Kat likes pets and will lean in for more but wants you to gently and slowly initiate. Once you feel how soft she is it's not too big an ask to make the first move. She will reward with lifting her butt showing how much she enjoys.<br/><br/>Kat may need a little time and patience but we believe once she is confident and trusts her adopter she will become a wonderful companion. We believe Kat and Kira have a relationship and seek comfort with one another. It is our hope they will be adopted together. Kat would do best in a quieter home with a routine. Kat would be great for a single adopter, a couple. or possibly a family with older respectful kids. Kira also cohabitates well with other friendly cats. <br/><br/>Kat has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Kat has an approximate birthdate of 10/14/2024.
