Karma's Story

Karma is a 2-month-old female kitten with a gentle, independent spirit. She tends to enjoy her own space, often choosing a cozy spot on the couch or in her kennel while the other kittens pile together. Despite her quiet nature, Karma gets along well with other cats and dogs and adjusts nicely in a multi-pet home! She shares a special bond with her sister, Dorothy -both are a bit on the timid side and find comfort in each other. They enjoy playing and cuddling together and would make a wonderful pair for a home looking to adopt two companions. While Karma may not be the most outgoing kitten at first, she does enjoy affection and will happily come over for cuddles and playtime once she feels comfortable. With a little patience and love, her sweet personality really shines through! All CSHS kitties are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, FIV/FeLV test (if not born in care), dewormed and microchipped. At the Carver Scott Humane Society, we follow an Adopter's Welcome philosophy. This means that instead of an overwhelming application process, home visits, and hoop jumping, we take a conversational approach to our adoptions. Our goal is to make adoptions possible and help you be a successful pet parent! Once an application is submitted, we take applications as "first-come, first-considered." While this does not guarantee that the first applicant will adopt the animal of their choice, it does guarantee that we will process the application all the way through before moving on to the next application in line. If you see an animal you are interested in, please apply as soon as possible! This does not obligate you to the animal in case you change your mind, but may assist in securing your place in line for that animal.
