Karma is a 3-year-old white and brown boy who is still learning that new people and places can be safe. He spends much of his day tucked into his bed and may move away if someone approaches too quickly or loudly, but a soft voice and a little patience can go a long way with him.<br/><br/>After a few quiet minutes, Karma allowed gentle pets on his head. As he became more comfortable, he slowly started leaning into the affection and even rose onto his tippy toes when he received pets near his back end. He's a sensitive boy who does best when interactions are slow and gentle, giving him time to decide when he's ready for more.<br/><br/>Karma has previously lived with a cat and a small dog and could potentially do so again with a slow, careful introduction. He also took some time to warm up to children in the past, but eventually opened up and was able to coexist with them.<br/><br/>Karma may not be the cat who runs up to greet you right away, but for the person willing to let him blossom at his own pace, he has a sweet side waiting to come out.
