Karma is a 3-year-old white and brown girl who is still learning that new people and places can be safe. She spends much of her day tucked into her bed and may move away if someone approaches too quickly or loudly, but a soft voice and a little patience can go a long way with her.<br/><br/>After a few quiet minutes, Karma allowed gentle pets on her head. As she became more comfortable, she slowly started leaning into the affection and even rose onto her tippy toes when she received pets near her back end. She's a sensitive girl who does best when interactions are slow and gentle, giving her time to decide when she's ready for more.<br/><br/>Karma has previously lived with a cat and a small dog and could potentially do so again with a slow, careful introduction. She also took some time to warm up to children in the past, but eventually opened up and was able to coexist with them.<br/><br/>Karma may not be the cat who runs up to greet you right away, but for the person willing to let her blossom at her own pace, she has a sweet side waiting to come out.
