Kale's Story

Kale and her 5 kittens were living under a porch. The owner of the home was caring for them and hoped to keep Kale after the kittens were weaned but Animal Control threatened to ticket them. So, plans changed and the whole family came to us.<br/>Indoor homes only unless the cat is part of our barn cat program. Home visits are required so we are limit adoptions to approximately 45 minutes from Cedar Rapids, IA. <br/>Iowa adoptions only -no out of state adoptions. <br/>Our Cedar Rapids adoption center is open by appointment only at this time. SAINT Rescue's Adoption Policy

We screen all applicants to ensure safe, stable, and loving homes for our animals. All applicants must be 18 years of age or older. If you rent, the landlord will be contacted, and their approval is required. We honor a "no-pet" policy on any rentals. No adoptions to anyone convicted of a violent offense, offenses against animals, child or elder endangerment/neglect, or domestic abuse. We limit adoptions to homes within 40 miles of our Adoption Center. A home visit is required on all adoptions and is generally conducted when we deliver the cat(s). We reserve the right to deny any application.
