Kala

Kala (about 5 and a half months old as of 1/11/26) is a spayed female torbie shorthaired kitten. Kala was born into a colony of feral cats in Zion just as they were getting started with trap-neuter-return. She was grabbed at about 7 weeks old and thankfully was a very docile girl who took to living inside with people very well. She was sick with an upper respiratory infection and really blossomed with the supportive care and TLC her foster family gave her and is now a happy healthy girl that gets the crazy kitten zoomies like most kittens her age. Kala gets along great with other cats, she loves curling up with an adult cat but she'd probably be happiest in a home with a young feline friend she can chase around and play with. She's slowly getting more comfortable with an Australian Shepherd in her foster home so we think she could adapt to most cat-friendly dogs, and she does well with kids that are old enough to be gentle and respectful with her.
