Kaia's Story

Kaia is a sweet girl. Here is what her Foster Mom said about this gal.<br/><br/>"Kaia (meaning “of the sea”) is about 3 years old. She is a sweet, gentle and quiet gal with a soft purr. She loves high spots, most especially a window where she can watch the squirrels. Her favorite spot is at the end of the couch with her arms hanging over the arm rest.<br/><br/>
Kaia had two kittens and she welcomed me to touch them the moment they were born. She was a great mama and since they have left, she is now cleaning another kitten with whom she also plays well.<br/><br/>She prefers to either be with me or find a spot to curl up when there is kitten chaos happening around her. She is not bothered by the movements or any loud sounds.<br/><br/>Kaia loves to hug, either in my arms as we walk around or she will gently wrap her legs around my calf. If I sit down, she may drape her front paws over my shoulders or leg.<br/><br/>
She likes to help open packages, put things together and loooves belly rubs!
The tunnel is Kaia’s most favorite playtime area. She greets me when I arrive home and shows her excitement for love or wet food by staring up and shaking her head while cackling. This girl loves to make biscuits on my belly before a snuggle which may be beside me, under the blankets or in the middle of a pile of laundry."<br/>______<br/>Apply to adopt this cat and learn more about The Feline Connection on our website: http://www.thefelineconnection.org/<br/><br/>---ABOUT THE FELINE CONNECTION---<br/><br/>The Feline Connection is a foster-driven 501(c)(3) cat rescue in Rutland, Vermont. The Feline Connection's Adoption Policy
The Feline Connection champions for cats who need homes and we are committed to finding each cat a safe and healthy permanent home. We work to find the best possible home matches for each of our stray, homelss or friendly colony cats based on their unique needs, and the needs of the adopter. We do not have a shelter location, so all of our animals are fostered with families in Rutland County, Vermont, mostly near Rutland. This gives us a unique capability to observe and interact with each cat in a relaxed home environment. Our conversation based adoption process starts with submitting an application followed by a conversation, vet and landlord check (if needed), and then cats visits and home visits as needed for the perfect match. Pictures of the cat’s new home are always welcome. Visit us at http://www.thefelineconnection.org/ for more details
