Kaia is a 4 paw declawed cat who is looking for a warm lap to cuddle. She has stayed in foster care while the shelter was under treatment so she was never exposed to mycoplasma felis. This worked for her as she does NOT like other cats. She is super independant, but will seek out a shoulder to cuddle when she is ready. Even though she is independent she does like to keep her eyes on her person. She has a distinct growl she uses when she is done with the attention. She does have a deformed ear that doesn't stick up like ther other. She doesn't let that slow her down. She loves catnip, wand toys, fuzzy mice, and watching squirrels and birds out a window. She is a queen looking for her palace.<br/><br/>Please note, we do NOT allow declawing of any cat or kitten that we adopt out, unless deemed medically necessary. We will gladly provide you with alternative methods of managing cats with claws.<br/><br/>We're open from 12-4 PM Tuesday - Saturday. Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days. Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet.
