Kacang's Story

Kacang is a friendly, confident cat who enjoys playtime and good meals. He loves playing fetch with small toys and will happily chase them over and over. When he's not playing, he prefers to relax on a cat tower, where he can observe what's going on around him.<br/>He can take a little time to adjust to new cats, but with a proper introduction, he settles in well. Kacang is fairly independent and doesn't need constant physical affection, though he'll seek you out when he wants attention!<br/>Kacang loves his brother, Salem, and would do best adopted with him. They balance each other well and make a great pair!

Contra Costa Humane Society's Adoption Policy
CCHS has animals available for adoption through a number of different avenues.  Many of our kittens and all dogs are cared for in loving foster homes until they are adopted.  Teenage, adult, senior and special-needs cats reside at Kitty Corner, an on-site, private cat shelter where cats are allowed to free-roam at all times, lounge in sunny windows and on comfy cat towers, and play to their heart's galore.  Similarly, we also have animals available for adoption through our Re-Homing Assistance Program, where we help to advertise animals that caregivers are no longer able to keep. If you are interested in meeting any of the animals listed on our website, please complete an adoption application unless otherwise noted! Our business office and Kitty Corner are located at 171 Mayhew Way, Suite 101 in Pleasant Hill, CA 94523. Kitty Corner houses adult, senior, and special-needs cats (sometimes teenage kittens).
