Settling In: Embracing the Rule of Threes Transitioning to a new environment is quite a journey for a cat. To assist with this, we like to remember the Rule of Threes, a timeline to help you gauge your new cat's acclimation: • 3 Days: Time to unwind and begin to understand their new surroundings. Feeling safe. • 3 Weeks: Familiarization with their new home and daily routines. Knowing their home means they’re easier to get back home if lost. • 3 Months: Full integration into the family, truly feeling at home, personality comes alive. They blossom!
